EU: A Balanced Approach to General Purpose AI in the EU AI Act
BSA, together with a total of 10 industry associations across the EU, urges policymakers to reject recent proposals to include General Purpose AI in the scope of the EU AI Act. A joint statement and accompanying paper explain why maintaining a risk-based approach to artificial intelligence is needed to support AI development, innovation, and digital transformation in Europe.
