WASHINGTON – June 29, 2019 – BSA | The Software Alliance welcomes the commitment made by G20 member countries to facilitate digital trade through collaborative policies that will support today’s innovation ecosystem. A trust-based, comprehensive, and consistent global policy framework to foster cross-border data flows, such as the Data Free Flow with Trust (DFFT) framework described in the G20 Leaders’ Declaration, will improve the development of technology such as AI, driving job creation and economic growth. “We commend Japan’s leadership in driving consensus on principles to support the free flow of data.
