BSA | The Software Alliance Vice President of Global Policy Aaron Cooper praises the EU AI Act on its risk-based approach.
“The greater the risk, the more important it is to require companies to take additional precautions in the development, training or use of AI,” Cooper said.
This type of framework generally aligns with some of the proposed legislation seen in the U.S., and Cooper said he hopes the political agreement in Europe will encourage more movement in Congress.
