Navigating the Future: The NIST Framework and How Companies Manage AI Risk Today

BSA | The Software Alliance will hold a briefing in SR188 in the Russell Senate Building where a panel will discuss the risks associated with the use of AI technology, current frameworks to manage these risks, and how companies in the field are implementing responsible AI programs on Monday, July 24 at 12 pm. Lunch will be provided.

Invited panelists include representatives of enterprise software companies who are intimately familiar with how AI risk is being mapped, measured, managed, and governed, including through tools such as impact assessments. We hope you’ll join us to learn more about how risk is managed at various phases of the AI lifecycle and what policymakers should consider as they seek to legislate in this area.

Panelists:

  •  Kate Goodloe, Senior Director, Policy, BSA (Moderator)
  •  Leah Perry, Vice President, Legal, Chief Privacy Officer & Global Head of Public Policy, Box
  •  Grace Yee, Director of Ethical Innovation, Adobe
  •  Danyelle Solomon, Director, US Government Affairs, Microsoft
  •  Evangelos Razis, Senior Manager, Public Policy, Workday

This event has been structured to comply with the widely attended gathering provisions of the House and Senate gift rules. Executive branch officials and staff may be required to check with their designated agency ethics officials regarding restrictions.
