BSA: Memory-Safe Language an Opportunity to Improve Software Security
WASHINGTON — BSA | The Software Alliance Senior Director of Policy Henry Young issued a statement following the release of the Office of National Cyber Director's (ONCD) report on memory-safe programming languages:
"The strategic adoption of memory-safe programming languages is an opportunity to improve software security – one which requires action by the government, software producers and customers, and the open-source software community. Today’s report from the Office of the National Cyber Director underscores the need for further collaboration to reduce cybersecurity risks and promote the overall strength of our cybersecurity ecosystem through the adoption of memory-safe software."
