BSA Asks Fed Govt to Streamline Conflicting Procurement Regulations in Letter to OMB

BSA | The Software Alliance submits a letter to the OMB asking to streamline regulations governing the federal government’s procurement of IT and software services.
Tech industry group BSA | The Software Alliance wants the Office of Budget Management to streamline “overlapping and conflicting regulations” governing the federal government’s procurement of IT and software services, according to a letter sent to OMB Director Shalanda Young obtained by POLITICO.
“Layering on additional processes and additional rules might in fact be counterproductive to that goal,” said Michael O’Brien, BSA vice president of global public affairs.
