Joint Statement on White House Civic Tour of Duty Event

BSA | The Software Alliance, the Information Technology Industry Council, and Internet Association are attending an event hosted by the White House Office of American Innovation on promoting civic tours of duty among their member companies. “The White House Civic Tour of Duty offers the opportunity to harness the insight and knowledge from the private tech sector to strengthen the federal workforce’s efforts and help them better serve the American people. Technology is increasingly at the center of the services the US government provides to Americans, including weather forecasting, GPS mapping, and protecting our sensitive networks online, among others. The federal workforce requires robust technical expertise to fulfill these missions. We thank the White House for their leadership on this issue and look forward to moving this program forward.”
