BSA | The Software Alliance Welcomes Three New Members

Intel, ServiceNow, and Sitecore join leading software association

WASHINGTON – May 28, 2019 – BSA | The Software Alliance is pleased to announce the addition of three new global policy members: Intel, ServiceNow, and Sitecore. Steve Rodgers, Intel’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel; Russ Elmer, ServiceNow’s General Counsel; and Rich Foehr, Sitecore’s Chief Legal Officer, will join BSA’s Board of Directors.

“BSA’s membership has steadily grown and we’re excited to have Intel, ServiceNow, and Sitecore join our group,” said Victoria Espinel, President & CEO of BSA | The Software Alliance. “Privacy, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity are areas where we hope to see progress this year, both in government and the private sector. We look forward to having Intel, ServiceNow, and Sitecore join these important discussions to help modernize software policies.”

  • Intel, a leader in the semiconductor industry, is shaping the data-centric future with computing and communications technology that is the foundation of the world’s innovations and essential to emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, 5G networks, and autonomous vehicles. Founded in 1968, Intel is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, and has offices around the world with 107,000 employees. Steve Rodgers, Intel’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel, will join BSA’s Board of Directors.
     
  • ServiceNow delivers digital workflows that create great experiences and unlock productivity for employees and the enterprise. ServiceNow was founded in 2004 and went public in 2012. Based in Santa Clara, ServiceNow has over 8,600 employees around the world. ServiceNow was named Forbes’ No. 1 World’s Most Innovative Company in 2018 and ranks No. 3 on the Fortune Future 50 list. Russ Elmer, ServiceNow’s General Counsel, will join BSA’s Board of Directors.
     
  • Sitecore is a global leader in digital experience management software, with solutions that orchestrate content, commerce, customer data, and marketing operations to deliver personalized experiences across all channels of engagement. Headquartered in San Francisco, CA, Sitecore was founded in 2001 and has more than 1,200 employees around the world. Sitecore’s customers include American Express, Carnival Cruise Lines, Kimberly-Clark, and L’Oréal. Rich Foehr, Sitecore’s Chief Legal Officer, will join BSA’s Board of Directors.
